Analog goes Digital

As a professional computer programmer life was far from boring... this is all about my life behind closed doors.

Read about some of the highlight interesting companies, and especially the projects, that I worked for.

Remember that in the late 80's and early 90's everything was "bleeding edge" technology.

We were constantly being asked "can you do this?" and we always answered "Of course".

Just because it has never been done before just made it more fun to create and/or discover a way.

Especially as a Microsoft Windows programmer.

Some of the companies I worked for over my years...
  • Packard Bell
  • Countrywide
  • DieTech
  • JD Power and Associates

I hope that it doesn't make for too boring reading as it was an important, and profitable, part of my life.

On the PLUS side I was able to make enough money, by 1994, to buy my 3rd sail boat and what became my life's love "Mouse Pad", a 1974 Islander 36 sail boat.

It also afforded me the ability to save enough to take two years off, 1997-8, and sail across the South Pacific.  But that is another chapter "Sailing Lifestyle".
